The Coalition for Quality Government, founded by Otis Crowell, Ed Dickerson, Oliver Owens, and Jake Ivey, in 1992, aimed to assist and educate developers, business professionals, and citizens of Columbia County.

Dissatisfied with recent legislation, the Coalition actively supported a new County Chairman candidate, contributing financially to secure his victory.

Today, it continues to serve as a non-partisan platform for local leaders, fostering awareness of governmental and educational matters impacting Columbia County.
